• Is bedding included in university accommodation?

  Here's the thing, most university accommodation in the UK does not include bedding, towels or kitchen essentials as standard. If you check your pre-arrival advice pages or halls guide, it's likely to tell you to either bring uni essentials with you or head to the shops after you check-in (especially as most universities don’t allow deliveries except from UniKitOut before check-in)

• What do I need to pack for university?

  But if you're feeling overwhelmed, our uni packing checklist is a great place to start.

  As most university accommodation doesn’t include bedding, towels or kitchen essentials, you’ll need to organise everything yourself before you arrive. That usually means bedding, pillows, towels, pans, utensils, cleaning bits and all the everyday basics - and it quickly adds up.

  That’s exactly why we’ve created our Complete Student Kits, which cover everything you need across your bedroom, bathroom and kitchen in one box, ready for move-in day.

  We currently offer three main ready-made Kit options:

  
  Standard Complete Kit - our best-seller, with all the essentials you need to get set up at uni, including hotel-quality bedding and towels in a range of colours. The pans in this kit are great quality & suitable for all hobs including induction, so they are designed to take you through the whole of uni - not just year one.
  
  Premium Complete Kit - this has everything in the Standard Kit but better - fancier utensils, colourful colander,bowls & upgraded quality bedding designed to last well beyond your uni years.
  
  Deluxe Complete Kit - Our most premium option, this kit boasts high-end kitchenware, luxury hotel quality bedding, wooden hangers, a 5* hotel style robe.. oh and seriously fluffy towels.
  

  If you would rather build your own kit from scratch, you can also make your very own Custom Kit that’s completely tailored to you. Think of it like pick-a-mix, but for uni shopping.

• What size bedding do I need for my uni room?

  When it comes to sizing, your university will tell you your bed size in your accommodation details - all you need to do is match it up to the right kit (we did say this was easy!)

  All of our duvets and pillows are hotel quality, so no matter which quality you pick, you’re guaranteed those all-important snoozes between lectures.

  Extra Long Uni Beds
  Some universities have longer 7ft beds. If you’ve got one of these, you can buy a regular length duvet but you will need to choose our extra-long linen kit to make sure the bottom sheet fits the length of the bed.

• Can I get deliveries sent to uni before I arrive?

  UniKitOut are the UK's leading student kit provider. In most instances, your Accommodation won't accept parcel deliveries until you arrive at Uni - so it's super hard to get anything organised ahead of your arrival especially if you're travelling from afar... but not to worry, that's where we come in. 🦸‍♂️
