Each year we set aside a dedicated budget to help our university and accommodation partners support students who may need extra help getting started.
This can be used to provide essential living items for care leavers, Article 26 students and students from vulnerable backgrounds, helping them arrive with less stress and more of what they need.

Helping universities support care leavers & vulnerable students
Every year, thousands of students arrive at university without the same practical support network as their peers. Care leavers, Article 26 students, estranged students and those from vulnerable backgrounds can face additional financial and logistical challenges when preparing for university life.
